Artist Bio
I have created in my studio in Port Chester, N.Y. since 1984 . I studied at the Scool of Visual Arts in N.Y.C and with Leslie D’Or, Richard Miller and others over the years. I was juried into the NYSWA, ASCA and the Mamaroneck Artists Guild . I won the Medal of Honor at the Audubon Artists, and was invited to join as a member .I have exhibited and won awards extensively in the NY and Long Island area. I am currently showing at the Gallery Yellow in Cross River, New YorkMasquerade:
Attending a Masquerade Ball inspired my Masquerade series. I developed a method of working to create figures with a lot of movement and attitude. Each one has a mask, some as an accessory, with different meanings suggested. The material is wood and mixed media. |
