Artist Statement:
Echoes of another time and place are part of my interior world expressed through paint and mixed media on canvas, paper and stone......
Through intuition, spontaneity and experimentation I explore endless possibilities using collage, found objects and textural elements combined with paint. Varying line, form, color and texture with impasto technique and gestural energy I strive to capture the inner landscape that resonates within me.

Artist Bio
A resident of Cresskill, NJ, Dail Fried earned a BA Degree from Boston University before studying at the Art Center of Northern New Jersey and with well known artists at the Art Students League.

An active member of many professional societies, Dail Fried's work has been in numerous juried shows earning her many awards and exhibits throughout the Northeast.....and USA.....such asArtsforum Gallery, 57th St. NY, Pen & Brush, NY, Lincoln Center, NY, Bergen Museum, NJ, Paterson Museum, NJ, Broadfoot & Broadfoot, NJ, Johnson & Johnson Gallery, Nabisco Brands Gallery, NJ, Wayne Art Center, Hazleton Art League, Pa, Berlex Laboratories, NJ, Pfizer Inc. Additionally, her work has been shown in a traveling printmaking exhibition in Indiana, Minnesota & Iowa.... and internationally in Spain.
Her works hang in the permanent collections of the Bergen Museum, Brown Group Corp., Century Associates, Common Health Corp., Nyack Hospital.... as well as numerous private collections.
