Artist Statement:

My passion is for the painting process in which I convert my temperament and moods to painterly marks. I attempt to capture the spirit of the place and my emotional responses to what I observe. Gesture, color and line are an integral part of the works and acrylic paint is the medium of choice because it allows speed and thus encourages instinctive and sub-conscious forces to emerge.
